Take a deep breath. Experience nature.

Create a native plant meadow on a 10'X10' or larger area by the Mary T. Early Footbridge near the River Charles in Waltham, MA. The project will be executed on land owned by the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation which has already given approval for the project.

The project will include:

1) Cleaning removing any invasive plants marking

2) Dividing area 10' X 10' area into 2'X2' plots (25 squares) and designate a path for visitors wide enough for wheelchairs to pass

3) Prepping spot for information kiosk

4) Obtain native plant donations

5) Do some fundraising to help with cost of information kiosk

6) Schedule and supervise volunteers

7) Installing a small kiosk educating the public on the benefits of native plants.
